15 sexiest NHL players

After hours of research, from the data I have collected, here is a list of the NHL's 15 (current) sexiest players.

15) Evander Kane 

The sexiest part about this guy is the fact that he knocked out Matt Cooke. It was a thing of beauty that captured my heart. Born in Vancouver, BC plays for the Atlanta Thrashers. He's still very young which means he hasn't reached his full potential in terms of sexiness yet. Definitely deserves to be #15.

14) Alex Burrows 

The Vancouver Canucks are not the best looking team in the world but Alex Burrows has made this list. Born in Quebec. It's easy to see this guy has a big heart,  he celebrates goals with a bow-and-arrow mime in  honour of his close friend Luc Bourdon. Another great quality this guy has is that he isn't afraid to speak his mind especially when it came to calling out referee Stephane Auger claiming that Auger had a "Personal Vendetta" against him and continued to add that Auger "should stay out for the rest of the year making calls like that ... We just blew two points because of his officiating tonight." Alex Burrows was fined $2,500 for this comment. Let's face it, a sexy badass like that deserves to be on this list.

13) Jeff Skinner

Amazing to see the youngest NHL player show so much talent and be so darn adorable at the same time. It can't be easy being this cute. As well as a great hockey player, he is a figure skating Champ. Grew up cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was named January 2011's Rookie of the Month and is now crowned as the 13th sexiest player in the NHL. 

12) Jonathan Toews

Is it even necessary for me to explain why he's number 12?  Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, fluently speaks French and English. Safe to say he was one of the biggest contributors to Team Canada in 2010. He is the youngest player to enter the Triple Crown Club; Worlds gold, Olympic gold and Stanley Cup. What's sexier than a player that already has it all?

 

11) Mike Green 

If the NHL was high school, Mike Green would be the guy that acts too cool for everything but deep down you know he's a sweetheart. In 2008 he came out with his hair styled as a faux hawk which boosted the attention he got from Washington Capitals fans even more. How can you not love a player with a beastly slap shot that breaks Thoresen's protective cup? Even after that, Green called Thoresen to check in on him. Green also has a program called "Green's Gang" where he purchases 7 season tickets and donates them to Most Valuable Kids, a non-profit organization that works with underprivileged kids and active military.

10) Joffrey Lupul 

A proud Ukrainian-Canadian that was traded from the Anaheim ducks (For the third time) to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Lets face it, there's nothing attractive about a hockey player in Anaheim, to be honest, he probably wouldn't have made the list if he didn't play for the Toronto Maple Leafs. There's just something automatically sexy about a guy that plays in a Canadian city.

9) Loui Eriksson 

 A Swedish hockey player; almost as sexy as a Canadian hockey player. 

8) Peter Regin 

This gorgeous face comes with a very intelligent mind considering he left Europe and moved to North America to play in the best Hockey league in the world. Plays for the Ottawa senators. He is struck with a season ending injury but that's ok, I'm sure he'll have no problem keeping himself occupied. Definitely not one of the most talented players in the NHL, 3 goals and 17 points in 55 games .. nothing sexy about that.

7) Andrew Cogliano

 There's just something so sexy about a brunette. Andrew Cogliano is proof of this. Plays for the Edmonton Oilers, won the "Fastest skater" competition during the NHL ASG game. He's a guy you'd want on your team and in your bed.

6) Mike Cammalleri 

Italian descent, Canadian, plays for the Montreal Canadiens, that is a deadly combination right there. The Habs are easily the hottest team in the NHL, but Cammalleri is a head of the pack. There's no denying he is one of the sexiest men in the League. Let's hope he never shaves his hair off again because that was just unattractive. Note to men: Unless you're balding, shaving your hair off is NEVER a good idea.

 

5) Sheldon Souray 

2 Years ago, if you were to ask  me where I'd rank Sheldon Souray, I would say Number 1 EASILY. However, his attitude has really brought his score on the hotness scale down. Comments he made, ended up making him seem like a whiny bitch that was just fed  up with losing. Played for the Edmonton Oilers, but lost all respect with the organization when he made this comment;

              "I want a trade.  I do.  Yes, I do want a trade.  It’s not a players thing. It’s not a fans thing or a city thing. It’s a management thing.  They’ve given up on me, and it’s a two-way street" 

 Sorry Souray but Management in the Oilers are equally horrible to every player, and it's pathetic that you're asking .. no actually BEGGING, to come play back in Edmonton. You lost your chance. But you're still gorgeous.  Any women or man will agree.

4) Patrick Sharp 

 Another gorgeous product of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Plays for the Chicago Blackhawks. Sadly he is married to Abby Sharp. But who knows for how long? Divorce rates are pretty high these days. Evil thoughts! He made "Chicago's 50 gorgeous men" and I'm sure he would make anyone's list.

3) Carey Price

Of course Carey Price made the list. His face says it all. He's wearing the sexiest jersey anyone playing in the NHL could possibly wear. This perfect man comes with thick skin, after losing his starting job to Halak last season and then getting booed by Montreal Canadien fans, Price kept himself calm and collected and reminded Montreal why he was chosen over Halak. Any man that can handle and prove himself to Habs fans, deserves a medal.

2) Taylor Pyatt 

You'd think an amazingly handsome NHL player with a load of money would have the perfect life. Sadly that isn't the case, a little while ago Taylor Pyatt's fiance Carly Marie Bragnalo was killed in a car accident while  in Jamaica. Pyatt is fashionably rocking 25 stitches in his upper lip thanks to Eric Brewer.

1) Maxim Lapierre
You know what's sexy? A French-Canadian. You know what's even sexier than a French-Canadian? A French-Canadian that plays for the Montreal Canadiens. Sadly this isn't the case anymore, but I'm glad his time in Anaheim was short, he  now plays for the Vancouver Canucks. He's a player that's hard to miss, especially since he's the only guy making silly faces and mocking other players on the ice. Some think he's "obnoxious" but what's better than a guy with a good sense of humour? He isn't afraid to look silly on camera and that is truly impressive. This man is gorgeous, this is what every man  in the world should strive to look like. He's a guy you either want to be with or you just simply want to be. He is rightfully named the Sexiest NHL player currently playing in the NHL.
